This week's assignment was to create our mindmap and brainstorm some ideas on what to paint on the bottle.
Our theme was to design something that would speak about ourselves and how we contribute to society and our country.
First, I created the a rough mindmap with barely any designs on it. This was just the process of brainstorming and I used pencil so that it would be easier to erase/delete any mistakes I want taken out of the mindmap.
The questions I have asked myself are as follows:

I thought of something/someone that would contribute to society but not forgetting that I have to include something about myself in the design too. I though about occupations and people who are a great help to me and others.
After this, I proceeded with beautifying my mindmap to make it more appealing and worth reading.

I thought of adding more life to the mindmap by drawing some cartoon-ish people that are related to the point next to it.
For example: I drew 3 people of different age next to the point about my family.
I also found the cartoon-ish people somewhat related to the theme since the sculpture we would be painting the design on would be a person with a circular head and arms without fingers.
I then proceeded to colouring the mindmap and adding more details on it.

This was the final piece I came up with:
After looking through my mindmap, I thought that my design would be about my teachers. I admire the work my teachers had done for me and I think they contribute a lot to society by teaching us students things we need to know about our everyday things. They are very dedicated and I think that my teacher would be the design I would want to paint on my bottle and my sculpture.
I based the design on one of my current teacher.
First, I erased some details that I had drawn in the bottle.

Then, I drew an outline of my teacher and some few details with a pencil.
I then proceeded to colour it with coulour pencil. Though I am aware that I might not be able to paint my design with a(n) ombré/blending effect that I did on my drawing, I did so for an effect because I prefer a more lively colour blending than a solid colour.
This was my final outcome:

Next week would be the painting of the actual bottle we have.
