We were finally tasked to paint the bottle. We had about a week to do so and I think that painting the bottle was actually fun. Most specially when I was experimenting with different colours to find the perfect match for my bottle.
I started with the bottom of my bottle. It was supposed to be black as it was where my character's shoes is located. I decided to use grey instead because I thought that the colour would eventually be darker.

Then I left it to dry on my newspaper.
Then I moved up to the pants which is dark blue. I chose a mixed colour of blue and a darker blue.

Before I moved on to the shirt of my character, I thought it had shapes that I need to be careful of painting onto like the hair or the character. I used my whiteboard marker and traced the outline of my character. I decided to paint over it since it would be covered by the paint anyway. I chose a turquoise colour for my character's shirt and it turned out nicely.
I moved up more to one of the hardest part of my character to mix colours, the face. I had a hard time mixing because I had very few resources for colouring. Finally I found the colours to match the skin tone of my character. I used the colours brown, white and a bit of yellow.
I then painted the hair for my character. I used a mix of light brown and dark brown for a more shady colour instead of a dull brown.
I left my bottle to dry. When it was finally dry, I decided use my marker to highlight the outline of my character.
I wanted to put shadows to make my character pop out. This created some problems with my painting and I ended up adding a lot of layers on paint on my bottle when I did something wrong and had to cancel it out with more paint. This is actually one reason I like paint more than colouring with normal pens and colour pencils; I could delete it out easier by just using paint and there would be no trace of the error than using white-out or correction tape and it would be too obvious. These is the process of the problems I had along the way of painting the bottle and adding shadows, textures on hair or effects:
I finally finished my bottle and this was the final result with all the shadows and effects finished:
